Golden Sun fans, I'm curious.

I see a lot of people throwing hissy fits over the fact that Golden Sun DS is going to star the children of the original cast. While I don't begrudge them their opinion, I've seen little in the way of actual intelligent justification for this belief.
Every argument so far seems to consist of "Making a game about their children is just an excuse to continue the franchise and make more money" or "Series like Final Fantasy that change main characters in between games are stupid." Really, people? This game has been planned from the beginning, they didn't just decide to revive the franchise for fun and profit. The first two games, in fact, were originally supposed to be one, in which you would change characters halfway through. The difference between this and Final Fantasy is that there's still continuity between every game here. The characters may not be the same, but they're still related to the prior heroes. They're still part of the same world.
Anyway, just my thoughts. Now, GS fans, whether you agree with me or not, I'd like to hear your thoughts so far. Shoot.

ReBoot Abridged?

Anybody watch it? (Hell, anybody besides the Java Hutters even familiar with the series?)

Still alive

OK, been a few months since the last journal.
Anyway, it looks like the plan is that I'm not going back to Wyoming, like, ever. Apparently by failing calculus last semester I proved that I can't be trusted to leave the state, or some crap like that. *Shrug*
On the upside, I'll be applying to go the a college in my area called Westwood sometime soon. I'm switching to a game art major, and it sounds like it'll be much easier. No difficult math, at least. *Crosses fingers*
Also, since I finally got access to a scanner, I updated a better scan of an old picture: terjon.deviantart.com/art/Deta…
More should be on the way soon. Celestie2010, Kikixeni, and I are working on a collaborative manga-type project based on a Golden Sun roleplay, and I've been doing some character art for it. Expect to see some of that in the next few days.
Edit: Oh, right, Katsucon pictures too. I got a few of those to put up.
